Jin Jun Mei, or the “Golden Beautiful Eyebrow” is rapidly becoming the most highly sought-after black tea in the world. This is drawn from the gold-colored tips and the beautiful appearance of the tea's leaves. Furthermore, the tea is also shaped like an eyebrow. Jin Jun Mei is a uniquely Chinese tea. It traces its origin to the Wuyi Mountains in the Fujian province of China. It has been cultivated there alongside other similar black teas for periods spanning 300 years and more.
The dry leaf smells like plums and burnt caramel and just the steam is intoxicating. The tea itself is bold and sweet with a perfect balance of hardy oak smoke and chocolate and delicate fruity overtones which will have you returning for cup after cup.
